The Englefield Estate is committed to ensuring that the village continues to be a thriving and sustainable community by providing an attractive and vibrant place to live, work, learn and visit.

Our proposals include:

a) Providing a new community meeting space within the former Social Club building. Work is now well under way on delivering this new asset for the village.

b) Sensitively updating the Estate Yard to create new workspace for a relocated Estate Office, improved maintenance facilities and other employment.

c) A modest and sensitively designed car park to serve the school, local residents and visitors.

In addition, we are considering future housing need and discussing the type of new homes that might be suitable for the village at a later date.

It is important to note that these proposals are sympathetic to, and in scale with, the village, its surroundings and the environment.
